Hamburg Station was conceived in 1874 as a rail station terminal. From the entrance hall, you will reach the twin-floor western Ehrenhoff wing, which is dedicated as permanent exhibit space to the works of Joseph Beuys. Its eastern wing is occupied by a restaurant and auditorium. The large hall and modern galleries are used for special exhibitions.

Opened in 1981 as “GDR Museum of Film”, it was the first of now six film museums existing in Germany. Centerpiece of its exhibits is the world’s oldest film studio, its productions and the artists who acted in films made by Bioscop, UFA, DEFA and Studio Babelsberg. FRESHCONEX is the meeting point for the international fresh produce convenience industry in Europe. This international trade fair focuses on fresh produce products, i.e. salads and ready-to-eat products made from fresh fruit and vegetables. FRESHCONEX runs in parallel with FRUIT LOGISTICA. Trade visitor tickets are valid for both fairs. It takes place on the fairgrounds of Messe Berlin.


The FRUIT LOGISTICA on the fairgrounds of Messe Berlin is the leading international meeting place of the fresh produce trade. More than 2,000 companies from across the entire fresh produce value chain will be present in a single location – including global players as well as small and medium-sized suppliers from all around the world. FRUIT LOGISTICA runs in parallel with FRESHCONEX. Trade visitor tickets are valid for both fairs.

German Cancer Congress

Every two years the German Cancer Congress will take place on the fairgrounds of Messe Berlin. Scientist and specialists for cancer diseases meet there to discuss the current results of research.


The Berlinale is a great cultural event and one of the most important dates for the international film industry. Around 300,000 sold tickets, almost 20,000 professional visitors from 130 countries, including about 4,000 journalists: art, glamour, parties and business are all inseparably linked at the Berlinale.


ITB Berlin

The whole world meets at ITB Berlin on the fairgrounds of Messe Berlin: People, working in the travel industry and people, who want to catch up on the most beautiful travel destinations.
