The Film Hotel in Berlin - a family-friendly hotel exuding plenty of charm and located smack - dab in the heart of Berlin, would like to introduce its personalized service to families and their children and promises you, dear parents, an exciting yet wholesome downtown vacation.


Family rooms and family suites:

The hotel features several types of accommodation:

  • 2 single family-size rooms with four beds and room divider - setup of an additional baby cot is possible - up to 4 persons - 53 sq.m.
  • 3 two-room suites with connecting door, two beds to each room, up to 4 persons - 39 sq.m. each
  • 1 two-room apartment with connecting door and sleeper couch (suitable for smaller children)-setup of additional baby/toddler cot possible - up to 5 persons - 57 sq.m. each
  • 10 junior suites with sleeper couch in the same room - up to 4 persons, 32 to 35 sq.m. each
  • 8 double rooms with connecting door between rooms - suitable for families with teenage children - 22 sq.m. each

Please note: To ensure smooth, enjoyable service, the number and age of children should be included in your reservation as our double rooms are not suited for extra beds. All extra beds in family-size rooms need to be arranged in advance by the concierge!!
All rooms feature identical appointments and fixtures throughout.

Children discounts

  • Children under the age of 12 stay free in parents’ room.
  • Teens over 13 years of age stay in parents’ room for an additional € 30.00 per night and are counted as adults
  • The “Capone” restaurant serves children’s portion pizza and spaghetti for € 5.00; all other dishes can be ordered in half size portions at half price plus a € 2.00 convenience charge.

  • Crayons and paper in restaurant
  • Changing station in restroom on the 1st floor.
  • Bathrobe in different sizes
  • Concierge service for family offerings (ticket reservations, recommendations) at the reception desk or by prior reservation
  • Adventure playground on Knesebeck St., a short 200 m from hotel
